Cave the World's Most Sacred Cave
Belize's Actun Tunichil Muknal Cave has been voted consistently by national geographic as the number one most sacred cave. This cave is not the only one in Belize, but it is the one that offers the best caving experience. A guided tour through the cave will involve you hiking your way past the jungle as well as some rivers. When you finally get to the ATM cave entrance, you'll have to swim into the cave itself. Once you leave the water, you can then proceed further into the cave through narrow crevices.
These narrow paths will lead you to the dry cathedral where you'll be greeted by the fantastic sight of ancient Maya posts and relics, beautiful cave formations and some sacrificial remains. This cave is awe-inspiring!

Locally know as pine ridge, this reserve has a stunning landscape of rolling pine Forrest extending over the smooth, granite Belize hillsides in Cayo. This reserve is home to many attractions which are no doubt ideal for adventure lovers. It has lots of hiking trails, many swimming spots, caves, waterfalls and birds.
